the hotel has a great bar on the seventh floor. it offers views overlooking the docks area. the staff was very cute there.

the check-in time is at 4 pm, quite late.

i really enjoyed my time here. the staff were friendly and helpful (the general manager was especially great!). the hotel's historical background is fascinating, and i'm eager to see the finished refurbishment. its location is perfect.

i noticed some peeling paint and slightly dirty walls, though i know it's a listed building, and this is being addressed.

a bit worn, but location's okay

the staff were friendly enough and the location was fine.

i found the mattress on the main bed was broken, it had a big dip where the springs had gone. reporting it didn't really help since i was told they would look at it after i left. i found this very disappointing.
